Showing & Competition

The Stud has its chance to show any exciting youngstock at the Annual National Hackney Breed Show, Ardingly. The show consists of an entire week of Hackney classes held at the South of England Showground, Ardingly, Sussex, during the first week of June. The classes range from junior in hand classes running right through to the best stallions in hand, this is then followed later in the week by all the harness classes. There is a second chance to compete in hand at the Northern Hackney Club Show, which is usually held over a weekend in August. For more information please see the Hackney Horse Soceity website.

The Bill Ginns Coaching Team enters numerous shows each year around the world. The emphasis is on enjoying ourselves and to have a Hackney team taking part, but we'd be lying if we said we didn't like winning!!
